Visa to Thailand

Please check whether you require a visa to enter Thailand. Everyone who is not exempt and who is not eligible to obtain a Visa On Arrival has to apply for a Thailand visa before they travel.

Requirements

1. Original Passport with at least 6-month validity and 2 blank visa pages and minimum 6 months validity of Employment pass / Dependant pass / Student pass / work permit / PR card (re-entry permit for PR should be given too).
   
   
2. The applicant’s bank statement or bank book showing the account’s name and number, balance and history of transactions for the last 3 months
   
   
3. Proof of Employment in Malaysia, e.g. letter from employer mentioning the applicant’s name, position and dates of visiting Thailand.
   
   For self-employed, business license/registration under the applicant’s name must be submitted.
   
   If residing in Malaysia under MM2H, a copy of MM2H registration must be submitted.
   
   
4. For Nigerian citizens, original Clearance Certificate issued by Nigeria’s National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). For holder of Malaysia’s Permanent Resident Card, the Letter of Good Conduct issued by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia is also acceptable. Please note that a Nigerian who resides in Malaysia as a student can only apply for Non-Immigrant visa (ED).
